Dark, Witch & Creamy
(BEWITCHED BY CHOCOLATE Mysteries ~ Book 1)
A witch, a kitty and dark chocolate magic…
Caitlyn is used to being the ugly duckling in her glamorous showbiz family… until the day she learns that she was adopted as an abandoned baby. Now, her search for answers takes her to the tiny English village of Tillyhenge where a man has been murdered by witchcraft – and where a mysterious shop selling enchanted chocolates is home to the “local witch”…
Soon Caitlyn finds herself fending off a toothless old vampire, rescuing an adorable kitten and meeting handsome aristocrat Lord James Fitzroy… not to mention discovering that she herself might have magical blood in her veins!
When she’s dragged into the murder investigation and realises that dark magic is involved, Caitlyn is forced to choose. Can she embrace her witchy powers in time to solve the mystery and save those she loves?

And here’s me and Muesli having fun unwrapping the parcel from Amazon…
(My books are printed in the U.S. and have to be shipped to Australia first for me (& Muesli) to sign them – and then turned around and sent back to readers on the other side of the world. So signed copies can take a long time to arrive (and be quite expensive!!) but I know how much readers love them! 🙂 )
I sure enjoyed all of the ‘Scone to die for series’ and the chocolate books were yummy…Thank you for you wonderful talent.
Aww, thank YOU for your lovely comment, Valarie! 🙂 So sweet of you! I’m delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the new “Chocolate” series as much as my Oxford Tearoom one!

I really liked that you included a short homage to your other series, the Oxford Tea Room Mysteries, having Caitlyn notice “the Old Biddies”. Also, nice nod to possible descendant of most famous of witches, Morgan Le Fey.
Thanks, Debra! 🙂 Ooh – and very clever of you to spot the reference to Morgan Le Fey. You’re the first reader to mention that! 😉
Best wishes,
Hsin-Yi

Yes, I do always spend a lot of time and effort (probably more than necessary!) researching my books, to try and make things as authentic as possible – it’s lovely when a reader notices and appreciates it! 🙂
Best wishes,
Hsin-Yi

Wow, I won! Sort of. I’ll gladly take runner up though.
Thanks so much for running this. I stumbled on your series looking around randomly through the Kindle store, and have enjoyed it a surprisingly large amount for a book I picked up mostly because of the title and featured cat. Hope you’re having fun working on the next one – can’t wait for it!
I forget if I gave my address info at the time of raffle entry or not. Let me know if you still need it.
